Wood-fired Nordic kitchen
A small dining room built around one open hearth. Seasonal Nordic produce, slow embers and a menu that follows the woodpile.
Our story
On old Nordic farmsteads, the eldhus was the little house where the fire lived. Bread was baked there, fish was smoked, and people gathered when the nights grew long. We built our restaurant around the same idea: one hearth, one long evening, nothing rushed.
From the hearth
Our tasting menu changes with the week's catch and harvest. Everything is cooked over birch and juniper embers.
Birch-smoked Arctic char with brown butter and garden herbs.
Sweet peas and fennel with whey and charred onion.
Every plate gets a last spoon of juniper jus, straight from the embers.
“Everything on the plate has met the fire, even dessert.”

Private dining
Our private room seats up to twelve guests for birthdays, weddings and long Friday dinners. We plan the menu with you, around what the season and the fire have to offer.
Visit
Open Wednesday to Saturday from 17:00, with a long lunch on Sundays from 13:00.
Tables open 60 days ahead, and a few seats at the hearth bar are kept for walk-ins.
Find us down by the old harbour. Follow the woodsmoke from the chimney.
